Secialized fins reduce the effects of shearing and assist in proper body positioning, and the patent-pending design has two different zones to reduce shear in multiple directions. 

 

The Short-Wave is also designed to be thicker in the lumbar area, as well as under the user's thighs in order to prevent the user from sliding, and can be used in wheel and office chairs, spectator seats, trucks and cars.

 

The Short-Wave is recognized for reimbursement under Medicare codes E2601 and E2611.  Both codes must be billed together for this product.
